January 24th (4-7pm)

CH2M Hill Alumni Center

Suit Camp is an amazing experience open to all OSU College of Engineering students.  It helps students practice interviewing skills with a broad array of industry leaders, as well as enhance their ability to interact effectively in professional networking settings.  In addition, during an off-rotation of the mock interviews, students will also have the chance to recieve expert tips on Linkedin AND have a professional portrait taken for free!

Suit Camp attendees will be required to attend a pre-event training workshop the week before the event that provides coaching on interviewing best practices along with how to optimize professional networking opportunities (what to wear, what to bring and wear to put it, how to navigate space and conversation, food and drink do's and don'ts).  Students will register to attend one of the offerings for this 45 minute workshop that works for their class schedule as part of the registration for Suit Camp.  If a student fails to complete the required training, they will not be matched for mock interviews in advance and will be in a standbye pool at the event should any interview slots open up.

Suit Camp participants will:

-Engage in training on interviewing skills and how to navigate professional networking settings

-Practice interviewing with professionals through mock-interviews

-Receive feedback to improve future performance (dialogue/rubric completed by professionals)

-Have access to expert Linkedin tips and have professional portrait photos taken

-Practice newly learned networking skills with industry professionals during a reception with great food
