Leadership Academy Pillar: COLLABORATIVE

Do you have a problem that needs solving? Do you have an idea for something that can make people's lives better?  Do you want to spend some time trying to make something amazing?  If so, members were invited to apply for HWeekend!

This hardware development competition brings students of all levels and majors together with industry and faculty mentors to create something new — all packed into an intense weekend of activity. HWeekend is a free event sponsored by the College of Engineering and the College of Business. Students work together in teams to create a marketable project they can demonstrate and pitch to judges at the end of the weekend. The theme for this event is Disaster Relief. Unlike other weekend events, this one will involve all areas of design, including mechanical, electrical, programing and business. Some projects will also involve art, music, science or whatever else you want to do.

Leadership Academy students must register both:

Be sure you complete both of these steps so you are signed up with the competition and noted for recording towards completion of Academy requirements in the portal.
