January 15

Pillar: Ethical

The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Saturday of Service will take place on Saturday, January 15, 2022. This event is hosted by OSU Community Engagement & Leadership.

OSU's largest and longest running day of service is about coming together to honor Dr. King's life and legacy and help further his dream for peace by serving our neighbors and strengthening our communities.  The Dr. King Saturday of Service empowers individuals, strengthens communities, builds bridges, breaks down barriers, addresses social problems, and moves us closer to Dr. King’s vision of strong, beloved communities.

Projects will take place at various times throughout the day and check-in will be located in the MU Ballroom.  Additionally, a light breakfast, snacks, and hot lunch will be provided to volunteers by the Global Community Kitchen, as well as transportation to all projects.
