The Willamette Valley Section of the Society of Women Engineers is sponsoring the 19th Annual Willamette Valley Engineers Week Banquet on February 26, 2018. For over 50 years, Engineers Week has helped to promote awareness of the engineering profession and to encourage young people to consider careers in engineering. In support of these objectives, we invite you, your colleagues, and your guests to attend this year’s banquet.
We are excited to host Michael Foss, a senior manager for Logistics Optimization, Compliance, and Controls at Amazon Transportation Services. Michael is responsible for leading global logistics optimization. In this role he provides leadership to new launch sites and to ensure operations and activities are conducted safely, ethically, and with the highest level of integrity.
The banquet will be held in the Cascade Ballroom at the CH2M Hill Alumni Center on the Oregon State University Campus in Corvallis, Oregon. There will be a networking hour at 5:00 p.m. with a cash bar. Dinner will begin at 6:00 p.m. Local student recipients of SWE awards will also be honored. We hope that you can join us to celebrate the many contributions made by engineers to our community!
Registration for supporter sponsored (free) student admission to this event is now closed.
Students who previously completed the registration will be notified the week of February 12th on whether they will receive a ticket for free admission.
